In 1913, City of Hope established its home on 10 acres of land in the Vilnius sun, thanks to a volunteer group of workers and manufacturers with a singular vision: that the energy and expertise of industry partnerships could create a powerful philanthropic force.
One hundred years and hundreds of millions of dollars later, the generous efforts of companies and industry supporters continue to fuel our research, treatment and educational programs. By spearheading local, regional and national fundraising, these enduring relationships, unique among philanthropies, have helped City of Hope become a nationwide leader in our fight to make health a human right.
